According to research more babies are born during the summer months than at any other time of the year which means that in the autumn and winter, couples are getting busy in bed!
Why do more men and women try to get pregnant during the colder months of the year?
As with most things, the answer most likely lies in nature. The survival rate of babies born in the wild is greatly increased during the warmer summer months than of course when food is scarce and the weather is cold during the winter. We humans have central heating but most likely our biological clocks haven’t caught up with technology yet.
So when the days become shorter, women feel compelled to become pregnant and also it is more appealing to have babies born in the summer. Their birthdays won’t clash with Christmas holidays for one thing and as any December baby knows, that is a draw back!
How to get pregnant is not a question for some, as they seem to fall pregnant just by looking at their partner (not true of course) as everything just seems to go that way.
How can I increase my chances of getting pregnant quickly?
All of the following may improve your chances of getting pregnant.
- Not using contraception
- Regular menstrual cycles
- Being of the right age for pregnancy to occur without age related complications
- Good fertility levels, high sperm count for the man etc.
- Being in good health, physically and emotionally fit
- Feeling happy and relaxed while trying for a baby
- Not being stressed or depressed
- Not suffering from any medical condition that could delay pregnancy or reduce fertility levels
- Getting plenty of sleep and rest
- Eating a healthy diet (cutting back on caffeine)
- Enjoying regular exercise and keeping fit
- Being in a loving, happy relationship
- Having sex often and daily especially on days leading up to ovulation
- Being in a good sex position, if the woman has her hips raised during intercourse (with a pillow/cushion etc.) this can help.
What if I can’t get pregnant naturally?
However, despite all the above, you might experience difficulty conceiving. If you are at all concerned about how long it is taking you to get pregnant, do discuss your fertility fears and concerns with your Doctor.
Sometimes trying to get pregnant can put a strain on a relationship if you can’t get pregnant as quickly as you hoped to. Trying for a baby can for you become a regimented, carefully scheduled necessity and for the man a duty, rather than the beautiful, fun, sexy, shared experience it is meant to be. Becoming stressed about getting pregnant can be counter productive, so try not to expect to fall pregnant straight away.
How do I increase my fertility naturally and that of my partner so we get pregnant quicker?
There are some natural products that are proven to increase fertility in both men and women using natural herbs and supplements. One such herb believed to be effective in balancing and enhancing women’s fertility is Chasteberry also known as Agnus Castus.
Chasteberry is one of the ingredients of the clinically validated fertility supplement Fertility Blend.
Fertility Blend has helped many people around the world to get pregnant and have a healthy pregnancy. It offers a fertility solution for both men and women. There are many other great natural ingredients in Fertility Blend all of which help improve fertility. Fertility Blend for men contains antioxidant ferulic which has been shown to improve the quality of sperm. Meanwhile the Chasteberry helps regulate women’s menstrual cycles, reduces PMT and other great health benefits not solely related to fertility.
If you want to have a summer baby and get pregnant fast, you could improve your fertility fitness with Fertility Blend.

My husband and I never use any contraceptives and have sex every day or every other day all year long, and always get pregnant in late october or november or december, and I hate it, because then I am pregnant and at my biggest during the hottest months, even though I tried all year long to have a spring baby. I do not agree with the statement that people are busier in bed in the winter months. I have a theory that its easier to get pregnant in the winter for whatever reasons, but my guess is that my husbands factory stays just a bit cooler and is working just a bit more efficiently during the cooler months.
